We have made significant strides in our social impact initiatives, attaining notable milestones along the way. We have trained 275 smallholder farmers in smart farming technologies, equipping them with advanced agricultural practices. This training has significantly enhanced their agricultural capabilities. We have also actively reduced food insecurity in 87 households, with a 35% decrease in food insecurity, thereby improving food stability for these families. Furthermore, the land productivity of 275 farmers has increased by 40%, demonstrating the effectiveness of our training programs in enhancing agricultural output.
We have made significant progress in our environmental impact initiatives. We have improved soil fertility on over 130 hectares of land and brought the same amount of land under sustainable agriculture practices. Additionally, we have produced over 30 tons of climate-resilient certified legume seeds. Furthermore, we have planted more than 1,600 trees, contributing to environmental conservation and biodiversity.
We have achieved substantial economic impact through our initiatives. In 2023, 290 farmers were linked to readily available markets, facilitating better access to buyers and sales opportunities. Additionally, profit margins for these farmers increased by 55%, highlighting the success of our efforts in boosting their economic well-being.
